Where the Blues Was Born
- Where did the R&B legends begin their journey?
- Who were these bluesmen?
- Why are the blues so deeply rooted in the Delta?
- Where did they live, work, worship—and where are they buried?
We explore these questions by sharing their stories and taking you to the places where they lived their entire lives. The Mississippi Delta is flat, nearly 200 miles long, and shaped by a history of hardship and resilience. Its culture is rich, diverse, and unlike anywhere else. From this land came a new sound—the blues—a music that has influenced artists around the world.
On our tours, you’ll experience the culture, history, and spirit of the Delta blues firsthand.
